Situated in the heart of the prestigious St John’s Wood (NW8) area, CLA was appointed to provide Mechanical & Electrical design services for the complete refurbishment of the beautiful Victorian 6 bedroom property.
The refurbishment consisted of the entire strip-out to shell and core before commencing the refurbishment and the installation of new mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and audiovisual.
Design in Details
This was a high end private residential property in St John Wood, requiring a complete refurbishment. The clients brief was for a very high standard of finishes and incorporation of a number of high tech services.
CLA Urban recommended utilising wireless controls to operate all internal and external lighting. This also extended to fire detection and security. All heating was via underfloor and ventilation from a Heat recovery system. A comprehensive home entertainment system was provided throughout including a home cinema.
CLA provided a complete construction and management service. The project duration was 52 weeks and special care and attention were given to working methods, due to the nature of this prestigious and quiet residential area. The project was completed within budget and programme, even though there were numerous changes from both the client Interior design team.
